This Hospital was started by Dr.Yerra Nageswara Rao,M.B.B.S. in the year 1974 in the name of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Nursing Home. After the joining of his son Dr.Yerra Rajesh,M.S,M.Ch.,M.R.C.S. in the Hospital as a Paediatric Surgeon in 2007, the hospital was renamed as Yerra's Superspeciality Hospital.
